tinkerer : ok give me some time i will integrate the listing based interface with existing search interface. btw just fyi, for the search u do not need to enter all the info, just part of the name should be good enough.

thanks for offering to pay for the service. it is the best testiment that shareking chart is indeed useful. i do not plan to charge yet as my main focus is to make it a great platform first, and currently there aint sufficient good features to start charging...

gracewong : Dear tinkerer,

most kind of you to reply. I had failed to get the charts even entering into stock search through +. Problems are my inability to fill in the information requried eg source, symbol, name and exchange. I really find the list based method so much more user friendly.

In fact, I need to look at he the charts may be once a day or every two days. The shares I look at are just ordinary blue chips - your earlier list is sufficient. I was glad your list also include the other markets and the interest rates trend. The only additional information may be is to add on some major currency plus gold.

If there is a resonable subscrition fee to the use of such services. I would like to be part of the scheme.

tinkerer : hi gracewong, thanks for the feedback. i had changed the interface from listing based to search based. to open a chart that is currently not inside 'my stocks', you can use the '+' button to open up the
stock search window first, then search for it. i need to use a search interface becos shareking chart now supports world market, and the are too many stocks to be listed... sorry for the confusion... if u find the listing interface much better, please let me know, i will see if it is feasible to make both search and listing coexists... thanks!

Can you help me to get back the beautiful charts on "New shareking charts"? Before, with a click to open the page, it shows charts of all Sngapore stocks and major world indices with double SMA of 50 days and 200 days. Now the page is blank.

Is there any information on the website where I can learn how to operate teh various functions

tinkerer : Hi bywk,

Thanks for the feedback. When I first try I was able to reproduce the error.

This error message is a built-in security measure of the flash runtime prohibiting cross site scripting. In this case, shareking chart flash program is hosted on shareking.com, hence it can only assess resources located on shareking.com. An error message will be shown if it tries to do otherwise.

By design, shareking chart only uses resources from shareking.com. Hence it is puzzling to me why this error shows up. I also looked through my codes but cannot find any reason for the error to appear.

I then tried again, but strangely this time the problem doesn't show up again.

I can't provide a conclusive answer to why this is the case, but i suspect it can be due to some obscure network/DNS issue that caused the flash runtime to mistakenly thought the program is trying to load from another domain.

The good news: it is back to working condition.
The bad news: the error might come back... and if it does I will appreciate that you let me know.

If you still facing problem can you provide more information?

You might also want to try the facebook version here:

This version is more updated with more features and supports worldwide market, but lack insider trade, company announcement, p&l.

Will work on integrating the facebook version and shareking version later...
